«اغسلنها ثلاثاً، أو خمساً أو أكثر من ذلك، بماء وسدر، واجعلن في الآخرة كافوراً، أو شيئاً من كافور، فإذا فرغتن فآذنني»

Chain of transmission
Summary
Malik transmits from Ayyub al-Sakhtiyani, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Umm Atiyya al-Ansariyya (may God be pleased with her), who said: the Prophet ﷺ came in to us when his daughter died, and ordered us to wash her three times, five times or more, with water and lote-tree leaves, and to put camphor or something of it in the last washing; and to inform him when we finished. When we finished we informed him, and he gave us his waist-wrap and said: wrap her in it. The editor notes that the phrase 'if you see fit' in some copies is not sound in Yahya's transmission, citing Ibn Abd al-Barr (al-Tamhid 1/372) that all who transmitted this from Malik said it, and it was dropped only in Yahya's copy. The report was transmitted from Malik by Abu Musab, al-Bughawi, Ismail ibn Abi Uways in al-Bukhari, al-Qanabi in Abu Dawud, Qutayba in Muslim, and al-Shafii. 1
