Chain of transmission
Summary
Malik transmits from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) said: separate your pilgrimage from your lesser pilgrimage, for that is more complete for the pilgrimage of one of you and more complete for his lesser pilgrimage: to make the lesser pilgrimage outside the months of the pilgrimage. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1127), Suwayd, and Ibn Wahb in al-Tahawi transmitted it from Malik. 1
