Summary
Malik transmits from Ayyub ibn Abi Tamima al-Sakhtiyani, from a man of Basra who was in old times, who said: I went out to Mecca, and when I was on part of the road my thigh was broken; I sent to Mecca, where Abdullah ibn Abbas (may God be pleased with him), Abdullah ibn Umar and the people were, and no one permitted me to release myself. I remained at that water for seven months until I released myself with a lesser pilgrimage. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1164) and Suwayd (567) transmitted it from Malik. 1
