Summary
Malik said about one who entered ihram for the pilgrimage from Mecca, then circumambulated the House and ran between al-Safa and al-Marwa, then fell ill and could not attend the standing with the people: if he missed the pilgrimage, he goes out to the lawful territory if he can, and enters with a lesser pilgrimage, circumambulates the House and runs between al-Safa and al-Marwa, because the first circumambulation was not intended for the lesser pilgrimage; and he owes the pilgrimage in a later year and the offering. The editor notes that what follows on page 488 applies to those who are not from Mecca, and that Abu Musab (1171) transmitted it from Malik. 1
