Chain of transmission
Summary
The first hadith in the chapter on farewell to the House. Malik transmits from Nafi, from Abdullah ibn Umar, that Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) said: none of the pilgrims shall depart until he circumambulates the House, for the last rite is the circumambulation of the House. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1442), al-Shafii (131), al-Shaybani (517) and Yahya ibn Bukayr (in al-Bayhaqi) transmitted it from Malik. 1
