Summary
The first hadith in the chapter gathering what is related about the lesser pilgrimage. Malik transmits from Sumayy, client of Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Salih al-Sammam, from Abu Hurayra (may God be pleased with him), that the Messenger of God ﷺ said: one lesser pilgrimage to another is an expiation for what lies between them, and the accepted pilgrimage has no reward but Paradise. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1125), al-Baghawi, Suwayd (521), al-Qa'nabi (in al-Jawhari), al-Tinnisi (in al-Bukhari 1773), and Yahya ibn Yahya al-Nisaburi (in Muslim 4/107) transmitted it. 1
