Summary
The first hadith in the chapter on remembering God. Yahya transmits from Malik from Sumayy, client of Abu Bakr, from Abu Salih al-Samman from Abu Hurayra (may God be pleased with him): the Prophet ﷺ said whoever says a hundred times in a day, "There is no god but God alone, with no partner; to Him is the dominion and to Him is the praise, and He is capable of all things", has the reward of freeing ten slaves, a hundred good deeds are written for him, a hundred sins are erased, it is a guard for him from Satan that day until evening, and no one brings anything better except one who did more. The editor cites al-Bukhari, Muslim, Ibn Hibban, al-Baghawi, Ibn Majah, al-Tirmidhi and others from Malik's transmitters. 1 2
