Chain of transmission
Summary
The first hadith in the chapter on which animals one in ihram may kill. Malik transmits from Nafi, from Abdullah ibn Umar, that the Messenger of God ﷺ said: five animals; there is no sin on one in ihram for killing them: the crow, the kite, the scorpion, the mouse, and the rabid dog. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1183), Ishaq al-Tabba, Suwayd (629), al-Bukhari and many others transmitted it, and refers to al-Tamhid (15/153). 1
