Summary
Malik was asked about a man who makes the lesser pilgrimage from one of the stations, whether from the people of Medina or others, when he should cut off the talbiya. He said: as for those who enter ihram from the stations, he cuts off the talbiya when he reaches the Sacred Area, and it reached him that Abdullah ibn Umar used to do so. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1124) transmitted it from Malik. 1
