Summary
Malik transmits from some people of knowledge that whoever entered ihram for the lesser pilgrimage and then decided to enter ihram for the pilgrimage along with it, may do so as long as he has not circumambulated the House or run between al-Safa and al-Marwa. Abdullah ibn Umar did this when he said: if I am turned away from the House, we will do as we did with the Messenger of God ﷺ; then he turned to his companions and said: their rulings are only one; I call you to witness that I have made the pilgrimage obligatory together with the lesser pilgrimage. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1081) and Suwayd (509) transmitted it from Malik. 1
