Chain of transmission
Summary
Malik transmits from Yahya ibn Said that he heard Said ibn al-Musayyab say: whoever makes the lesser pilgrimage in Shawwal, Dhu al-Qadda or Dhu al-Hijja, then stays in Mecca until the pilgrimage reaches him, is an enjoyer if he makes the pilgrimage, and owes what is feasible of an offering; if he cannot find one, fasting three days in the pilgrimage and seven when he returns. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1110) transmitted it from Malik. 1
