Summary
The first hadith in the chapter on cutting off the talbiya. Malik transmits from Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr al-Thaqafi, that he asked Anas ibn Malik (may God be pleased with him), as they went in the morning from Mina to Arafat: how did you do on this day with the Messenger of God ﷺ? He said: whoever was entering ihram among us entered ihram and was not censured; whoever said the takbir said it and was not censured. The editor notes that Abu Musab transmitted it from Malik, and through him Ibn Hibban, al-Baghawi and al-Mizzi; Suwayd, al-Qa'nabi, al-Tinnisi in al-Bukhari (1659), Ibn al-Qasim, Mansur, and Yahya ibn Yahya al-Nisaburi in Muslim (4/72) transmitted it. 1
