Summary
Malik transmits from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar did not split the covers of his offering animals, nor cover them, until he went out from Mina to Arafat; then he removed their covers and gave them in charity. The editor notes that al-Bukhari hung it, and that al-Bayhaqi added 'except at the hump' before 'then he takes off their covers and gives them in charity'. 1
