Summary
Malik transmits from Yahya ibn Said, Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr (may God be pleased with him) and Rabia ibn Abi Abd al-Rahman that al-Walid ibn Abd al-Malik asked Salim ibn Abdallah and Kharija ibn Zayd ibn Thabit (may God be pleased with him), after he had stoned the pillar and shaved his head and before he departed, about perfume; Salim forbade him, and Kharija permitted it for him. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1059) and Suwayd (493) transmitted it. 1
