Summary

Malik transmits from Yahya ibn Said, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, that Aisha, Mother of the Believers, used to fast on the day of Arafat. Al-Qasim said: I saw her on the evening of Arafat when the imam was departing; she stopped until the ground between her and the people whitened, then asked for a drink and broke her fast. The editor notes that Abu Musab (893 and 1366) and Suwayd (562) transmitted it from Malik. 1
