Summary
A report that Yahya transmits from Malik from Yahya ibn Sa'id from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from Aisha, the Prophet ﷺ's wife, who was asked about a man who divorced his wife irrevocably, then another man married her and divorced her before consummation, and whether her former husband may marry her. Aisha said no, until he tastes her honey. The editor notes that Ibn Wahb connected it through al-Miswar from al-Zubayr from his father; that al-Nasa'i preferred the mursal form; that al-Zubayr is unknown; and that the story is in the Sahihayn from Urwa from Aisha. 1
