Chain of transmission
- Malik ibn Anas
- Abdallah ibn Dinar
Summary
Malik transmits from Abdallah ibn Dinar that Abdullah ibn Umar offered two camels for each pilgrimage and one camel for each lesser pilgrimage. He said: I saw him slaughter a camel during the lesser pilgrimage while it stood in the courtyard of Khalid ibn Asid, where his lodging was; I saw him thrust into the throat of his camel until the spear came out from under its shoulder. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1200) and Suwayd (523) transmitted it from Malik. 1
