Summary
Malik transmits from Hisham ibn Urwa, from his father, that the Messenger of God ﷺ said to Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf (may God be pleased with him): how did you do with touching the corner, Abu Muhammad? Abd al-Rahman said: I touched and left it. The Messenger of God said to him: you were right. The editor notes that Ibn Wahdah claimed the word 'the Black' dropped from Yahya's transmission; that Abu Musab and others transmitted it like Yahya's; that the hadith is relayed in Malik's transmission, while al-Thawri connected it through Bishr ibn al-Sari and Abu Nu'aym from Sufyan from Hisham from his father from Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf. 1
