Summary
Malik transmits from Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Halhala al-Dili, from Mabad ibn Kab ibn Malik, from Abu Qatada ibn Rabii, that he used to narrate that the Prophet ﷺ passed by a funeral and said: relieved, and from which it is relieved. They asked him about the relieved and that from which it is relieved. He said: the believing servant is relieved from the toil and harm of this world into God's mercy, and the wicked servant is relieved from by the servants, the lands, the trees and the animals. The editor notes that Abu Musab and al-Bughawi, Ishaq al-Tabba in al-Daraqutni's Ikhtilaf al-Muwattaat and al-Bayhaqi, Ismail ibn Abi Uways in al-Bukhari, Suwayd, al-Qanabi, Ibn al-Qasim, Ibn Mahdi in Ahmad, and Qutayba in Muslim and al-Nasai transmitted it. 1
