Summary
Yahya transmits from Malik, from Ibn Shihab, that Abdallah ibn Amir gave Uthman ibn Affan (may God be pleased with him) a slave-girl as a gift, who had a husband, whom he had bought in Basra. Uthman said: I will not approach her until her husband separates from her. Ibn Amir satisfied her husband, and he separated from her. 1
