Summary
Yahya transmits from Malik, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Harith ibn Hisham (may God be pleased with him), that the Messenger said: whoever sells goods, and the buyer becomes insolvent, and the seller has received nothing of the price, and finds the same goods, he has the better right to them. If the buyer dies, the owner of the goods shares with the creditors. The editor notes that Ibn Abd al-Barr said the report in all the Muwatta versions is mursal according to Malik, and that Abd al-Razzaq transmitted it from Malik connected to Abu Hurayra (may God be pleased with him). 1
