Summary
Yahya transmits from Malik, from Ibn Shihab, that Ubayd Allah ibn Abdallah ibn Utba ibn Masud told him that Abdullah ibn Masud bought a slave-girl from his wife Zaynab al-Thaqafiyya, and she stipulated that if he sold her, she would take her for the price at which he sold her. Abdullah ibn Masud asked Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) about this. Umar said: do not approach her, for there is a stipulation in her for someone. 1
