Summary
Malik transmits from Ibn Shihab, from Urwa ibn al-Zubayr, that Khawla bint Hakim came to Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) and said that Rabia ibn Umayya had enjoyed a freed woman who became pregnant by him. Umar came out alarmed, dragging his cloak, and said this is temporary marriage: had he been ahead of it, he would have stoned. 1
