Summary

A saying of Malik in the chapter on one who catches a rak'a of the Friday prayer: on this the people of knowledge in Medina have always been, and he argues from the Prophet ﷺ's hadith that whoever catches one rak'a of prayer has caught the prayer. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it, and that the hadith he refers to appeared earlier in this book as number 15. 1
