Summary

A ruling of Malik in the chapter on the call to prayer: he was asked whether the call on Friday may be made before the time has come. He said it is only after the sun has declined. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab transmitted it from Malik, and cites al-Bukhari (904) from Anas that the Prophet ﷺ prayed Friday when the sun began to decline. 1
