Summary

A ruling of Malik transmitted by Yahya in the chapter on the call to prayer: he was asked about a caller who called people to prayer and then waited, and no one came, so he gave the iqama and prayed alone, and then people came after he had finished. Must he repeat the prayer with them? He said no, and whoever comes after he has left should pray alone. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab transmitted it from Malik. 1
