Summary
A saying of Malik in the chapter on the man who repeats prayer: whoever finds a trace of a wet dream on his garment and does not know when it happened, and does not remember anything he saw in his sleep, should bathe for the last sleep he had, and repeat what he prayed after that sleep, since a man may have a dream without seeing anything and may see something without dreaming. If he finds water on his garment, he must bathe. He cites Umar's repeating prayers after his last sleep but not earlier ones. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab, Suwayd and Muhammad ibn al-Hasan transmitted it from Malik. 1 2
