Summary

A report that Malik transmits from Yahya ibn Sa'id from Sulayman ibn Yasar, in the chapter on the man who repeats prayer: Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) led people in the dawn prayer, then went out to his land at al-Jurf and found a wet dream on his garment. He explained that when they came upon the fat of meat, the veins softened. He bathed, washed the dream from his garment, and repeated his prayer. The editor explains wadak as the fat of meat and tallow, and notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it from Malik, and refers to Abd al-Razzaq's Musannaf. 1 2
