Overview
Abu al-Mu'tamir Sulayman ibn Tarkhan al-Taymi, a traditionist of Basra. He narrated from the Companion Anas ibn Malik and a number of the Successors 1.
Dates
He was born in 46 AH (666 CE) and died in 143 AH (760 CE), according to the encyclopedia Mawsu'at A'lam al-Ulama' wa al-Udaba' 1.
