Summary
Malik transmits from Yahya ibn Said, from Ubbad ibn Tamim, that Uwaymir ibn Ashqar slaughtered his sacrifice before going out in the morning on the day of sacrifice; he mentioned that to the Messenger of God ﷺ, who ordered him to return with another sacrifice. The editor notes that Ibn Abd al-Barr said Yahya ibn Mu'in held the hadith to be relayed, and that Hammad ibn Salama's report shows this. 1
