Summary
A saying of Malik: whoever settles in Mecca from the far regions and lives there, then makes the lesser pilgrimage in the months of the pilgrimage, then begins the pilgrimage from there, is not an enjoyer and owes neither offering nor fasting; he is like the people of Mecca if he is one of its residents. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1117) transmitted it from Malik. 1
