Summary
Malik was asked about a man not from Mecca who entered Mecca for the lesser pilgrimage in the months of the pilgrimage, intending to stay in Mecca until he began the pilgrimage: is he an enjoyer? He said: yes, he is an enjoyer and not like the people of Mecca, even if he intends to stay, because he entered Mecca not being of its people; the offering or fasting is owed by one who is not of Mecca. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1112) transmitted it from Malik. 1
