Summary
The first hadith in the chapter on the order regarding game in the sanctuary. A saying transmitted by Yahya from Malik: anything hunted in the sanctuary, or on which a dog was loosed in the sanctuary, and the game was killed outside the sanctuary, is not lawful to eat, and the one who does that owes the penalty for the game. As for one who looses his dog at game outside the sanctuary and it pursues it until it hunts it inside the sanctuary, that is not eaten, and he owes no penalty for it, unless he loosed it on it while near the sanctuary, in which case he owes its penalty. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1153-1154) and Suwayd (578) transmitted it from Malik. 1
