Summary
The first hadith in the chapter on the call of the people of Mecca and others among them. Malik transmits from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim, from his father, that Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) said: people of Mecca, what is the matter that people come dishevelled while you are oiled? Call out when you see the new moon. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1083) and Suwayd (500) transmitted it from Malik. 1
