Summary
Malik transmits from Ibrahim ibn Abi Ablah, from Talha ibn Ubaydallah ibn Kariz, that the Messenger of God ﷺ said: Satan was never seen on any day smaller, more humiliated, more contemptible, or more enraged than on the day of Arafat; that is only because of what he sees of the descent of mercy and God's pardon of great sins, except what was seen on the day of Badr. It was asked: what did he see on the day of Badr? He said: he saw Gabriel arranging the angels. The editor notes that the hadith is relayed. 1
