Summary
It reached Malik that Saad ibn Abi Waqqas, when he entered Mecca in the state of one not yet fully purified (muraq), went out to Arafat before circumambulating the House and running between al-Safa and al-Marwa, and circumambulated after he returned. Malik said: that is broad, God willing. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1306) and Suwayd (549) transmitted it from Malik. 1
