Summary
Malik was asked whether a man may stand at Arafat or Muzdalifa, throw the pebbles, or run between al-Safa and al-Marwa while not in a state of purity. He said: every act of the pilgrimage that a menstruating woman does, the man may also do while not pure, and there is nothing owed by him; but the virtue is to be pure in all of it, and he should not deliberately do otherwise. 1
