Summary
Yahya ibn Said narrated to Malik that Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Taymi told him from Abu Salama ibn Abd al-Rahman that Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Aswad ibn Abd Yaghuth, who had white beard and hair, came out to them one day after dyeing them red. The people said: this is better. He said: my mother Aisha, wife of the Prophet ﷺ, sent her servant Nakhila to me last night and swore I must dye them, and told me that Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may God be pleased with him) used to dye. 1
