Summary
Malik transmits from Yahya ibn Said, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad and Sulayman ibn Yasar, that both of them mentioned that Yahya ibn Said ibn al-As divorced the daughter of Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hakam irrevocably, and Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hakam took her away. Aisha, mother of the believers, sent to Marwan ibn al-Hakam, then governor of Medina, saying: fear God and return the woman to her house. Marwan said, in Sulayman's report, that Abd al-Rahman overpowered him; in al-Qasim's report he said: has not the affair of Fatima bint Qays reached you? Aisha said that you need not mention the report of Fatima. Marwan said: if you have any harm in you, then what lies between these two is enough harm. 1
