Chain of transmission
Summary
Yahya transmits from Malik, from Zayd ibn Aslam, that the Messenger said: when one of you marries a woman or buys a slave-girl, let him take hold of her forelock and ask for blessing; when he buys a camel, let him take hold of its hump and seek refuge in God from Satan. The editor notes that Ibn Abd al-Barr called it a mursal report in all the Muwatta transmissions, though its meaning is supported by reports from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may God be pleased with him) (may God be pleased with him) and Abu Las al-Khuza'i. 1
