Summary
A report that Malik transmits from Abu Ubayd, client of Sulayman ibn Abd al-Malik, from Ata ibn Yazid al-Laythi from Abu Hurayra (may God be pleased with him), as a stopped report on him: whoever glorifies God thirty-three times after each prayer, says the takbir thirty-three times, praises Him thirty-three times, and closes the hundred with "There is no god but God alone, with no partner; to Him is the dominion and to Him is the praise, and He is capable of all things", has his sins forgiven, even if they are like the foam of the sea. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab transmitted it; Ibn Abd al-Barr said it is stopped in the Muwatta and such a thing cannot be known by opinion, and it is raised and sound through many channels. The raised report of Abu Hurayra is in the Sahihayn through Abu Salih, and in Muslim through Ata ibn Yazid al-Laythi. 1 2
