- Abd Allah ibn Dhakwan Abu al-Zinad
- Abd al-Rahman ibn Hurmuz al-A'raj
- Abu Hurayra
Summary
A report that Malik transmits from Abu al-Zinad from al-A'raj from Abu Hurayra (may God be pleased with him), in the chapter on the prohibition of praying at noon, with wording like the previous hadith on delaying prayer in intense heat. The editor explains that delaying (ibrad) means putting it off to a time when the heat breaks. He cites Ahmad, al-Shafi'i, Ibn Majah and al-Baghawi, and notes that Ibn Abd al-Barr said this hadith connects through many sound channels apart from Zayd ibn Aslam. 1
