«إذا شهدت إحداكن صلاة العشاء، فلا تمسن طيباً»
A verbatim excerpt of the text, forty words at most; the full text is in the edition cited under sources
Summary
A report from Malik that he was told Busr ibn Sa'id reported that the Prophet ﷺ said to women: whoever of you attends the night prayer, let her not touch perfume. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it, that it is connected in Ahmad, Muslim, al-Nasa'i and Ibn Khuzayma through Busr ibn Sa'id from Zaynab, the wife of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, and that Muslim transmitted from Busr from Abu Hurayra (may God be pleased with him) the prohibition on a woman who has perfumed herself attending the night prayer. 1
