Summary
A report that Malik transmits from Abu Hazim ibn Dinar from Sahl ibn Sa'd al-Sa'idi, in the chapter on placing one hand on the other in prayer: the people were told that a man should place his right hand on his left forearm in prayer. Abu Hazim said he knew of nothing but that it is traced back, that is, raised to the Prophet ﷺ. The editor cites al-Bukhari, Ahmad, al-Bayhaqi and al-Jawhari from Malik's transmitters, and refers to al-Tamhid. 1
