A verbatim excerpt of the text, forty words at most; the full text is in the edition cited under sources
Summary
A report from Malik that he was told Ali ibn Abi Talib (may God be pleased with him) said that nothing that passes in front of one who prays breaks the prayer, in the chapter on the permission to pass in front of one who prays. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it, and that Abd al-Razzaq and al-Tahawi transmitted it by other channels from Abu Ishaq al-Subay'i from al-Harith from Ali, and Ibn Abi Shayba through Qatada from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab from Ali and Uthman in similar words. 1
