Summary
The first hadith in the chapter on the total of the forenoon voluntary prayer. Yahya transmits from Malik from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talha from Anas ibn Malik (may God be pleased with him): his grandmother Mulayka invited the Prophet ﷺ to a meal. He ate some and said, "Get up, and I will pray for you". Anas went to a mat of theirs that had blackened from long wear, sprinkled it with water, and the Prophet stood on it. Anas formed a row with an orphan behind him and the old woman behind them, and he prayed two rak'as for them and then left. The editor cites al-Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, al-Tirmidhi, al-Nasa'i, Ibn Hibban, al-Darimi, Ahmad and al-Shafi'i, and refers to al-Tamhid. 1 2
