Summary

The first hadith in the chapter on one who stands up after completing a prayer or after two rak'as. Yahya transmits from Malik from Ibn Shihab from al-A'raj from Abdullah ibn Buhayna: the Prophet ﷺ led them in prayer for two rak'as, then stood without sitting for the testimony. The people stood with him, and when he finished his prayer and they waited for his salam, he said the takbir, made two prostrations while seated before the salam, and then gave salam. The editor cites al-Bukhari, Abu Dawud, al-Nasa'i, Ahmad, al-Darimi and al-Shafi'i, and refers to al-Tamhid. 1
