Summary
A report that Malik transmits from Afif ibn Amr al-Sahmi from Ata ibn Yasar: Ata asked Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may God be pleased with him) (may God be pleased with him) and Ka'b al-Ahbar about one who doubts his prayer and does not know whether he prayed three or four rak'as. Both said he should pray one more rak'a and then make two prostrations while seated. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab, Suwayd, Muhammad ibn al-Hasan and Yahya ibn Bukayr in al-Bayhaqi transmitted it. 1
