Summary

The first report in the chapter on the summary of menstruation, a transmitted statement. Yahya transmits from Malik that he was told Aisha said of a pregnant woman who sees blood that she should leave off prayer. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it, and that Abd al-Razzaq and al-Daraqutni transmitted a contrary report from Aisha through Ata: the pregnant woman does not menstruate, she bathes and prays. What is transmitted from her is therefore disputed. 1
