Summary

A ruling of Malik in the chapter on the general rules of the ritual bath: he was asked about a man with several wives and slave-women, whether he may have relations with all of them before bathing. He said there is no harm in lying with two slave-women before bathing. As for free wives, it is disliked to lie with one wife on the day of another. Lying with a slave-woman and then another while in sexual impurity is not objectionable. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it from Malik. 1
